New Reading Series!
M. M. De Voe invites one and all to the Pen Parentis After-Work Reading Series. (Pen Parentis provides resources to authors who have kids.)
The exciting new monthly event, held in association with the Seaport, begins Tuesday January 13, 2009, and continues through May of 2009, every second Tuesday from 6-8pm.
It is held in the UPSTAIRS LIBRARY of the warm and intimate Libertine restaurant, Todd English’s new gastrolounge inside the spectacular Gildhall Hotel at 15 Gold Street in Manhattan’s Financial District. Each month two authors will read from new or previously published works.
This promises to be one of the most elegant and author-friendly spots to read in Manhattan. Please comment with suggestions or to share your ideas on how to make this reading series a downtown mainstay literary event.
