Also reading is ERIN BRADLEY, a writer and journalist living and working in New York City. She writes "Miss Information", a sex and dating advice column for Nerve.com. Her book, Every Rose Has its Thorn: The Rock and Roll Field Guide to Guys was published last month by Penguin.

The back page of the journal claims http://greenmountainsreview.jsc.vsc.edu is the proper link to order. It’s a fine journal with some very good stories. The issue you’re seeking is Spring/Summer 2010. It might be easiest to go to your local bookstore and ask them to carry the journal.

A story by M. M. De Voe will appear in the next issue of Green Mountains Review–however, the magazine’s website does not seem to have been updated since 2008, so there is no news on when that issue will hit the stands. However!! An email exchange with the editor a few days ago resulted in the answer "next week." Keep your ear to the ground!

On May 16th, 2010, Bellevue Literary Review hosted a lovely public reading for its 20th anniversary issue. M. M. De Voe read third on the program, after Phillip Lopate and Jack Coulehan. Large shoes to fill, but audience response was warm and welcoming. A big and hearty thank you to Danielle Ofri and Stacey Bodziak, as well as to senior fiction editor Ronna Weinberg, for their gracious hospitality.

Across the pond, two very amazing horror writers/editors launched a writing contest called "The Campaign for Real Fear." The Guardian even wrote about it! The top 20 stories from an international list of entries has been published and here it is: http://tinyurl.com/top20winners — see if you can find any familiar names on it.

The stories will be all published in Black Static (half in June, 2010, half later) and they will also be available by podcast. Very exciting international news!!
