Normally stringent about keeping her professional activities separate, just this once, De Voe invites you to visit her at the office — Pen Parentis, the organization where she is executive director, has just launched a stunning new website. You can hear podcasts of readings by many of the authors who have graced the stage of the Pen Parentis Literary Salons, you can check out the public blog, you can sign up for the general mailing list–or if you are an author who is also a parent, you can sign up for membership and get all the cool perks the other members currently get. Do check it out–additionally, the Pen Parentis Writing Fellowship for New Parents is accepting applications now through April 20. NMW has mailed out hardcopy of the lovely New Millenium Writings 2011 in which DeVoe’s prize winning story, Empty, appears. Empty tied for first prize in Summer 2009 for the NMW short-short fiction competition. The anthology is edited by Don Williams.

Also: a new story in Jerry Magazine – coming soon! Corrections submitted last week. Matter of days, probably.

Finally: not begging or anything, but please turn out for the KGB reading this Saturday night 2/19 at 7pm.
